MEET OUR FOUNDER

Alannah Garnier, soprano, is a versatile musician from Minneapolis, MN based in both Minneapolis and Los Angeles, CA. She began formal music training at age five playing the violin and eventually started taking voice lessons at sixteen.

She received a Masters of Music from the University of Missouri, Kansas, City and a Bachelors of Music from the California State University, Long Beach. While in Kansas City, Ms. Garnier made her soloist debut at the Kauffman Center performing Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem. Alannah’s solo and oratorio experience is extensive performing major works including Mozart Requiem, Finzi’s In Terra Pax, Elijah by Mendelssohn, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, Handel’s Messiah and many others. She made her Walt Disney Concert Hall Debut in 2018 as the soprano soloist in the world premier of “dreams of the new world” by Pulitzer Prize winning composer Ellen Reid. A former member of the LA Master Chorale and LA Opera Chorus, Alannah has gone on to perform regularly at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, LA Opera and the Hollywood Bowl (many of which performances were in collaboration with the LA Philharmonic).

Ms. Garnier has also performed at the Metropolitan Opera in New York as a chorister in the 2019/2020 Grammy-Award winning production of Porgy and Bess. Alannah has also lent her voice to film soundtracks and recordings of contemporary works. Outside of the classical and operatic genres she has worked on indie recording projects as a songwriter and demo vocalist and has performed in a variety of styles including live tributes to Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse.
